Edward D. Miller, the former owner of Niagara Furniture Co., died Friday (Dec. 26, 1997) in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center after a brief illness.
Miller, 92, of Griffon Avenue, was born in Niagara Falls.
He enjoyed working and worked into his nineties.
Miller owned and operated the Niagara Furniture Co. for 25 years and then worked as an accountant at Ross Steel Erection until his retirement in 1995.
He was a former vestry at St. Peter's Episcopal Church.
Miller is survived by his wife of 70 years, the former Dorothy Luggar; a son, George; a daughter, Shirley of Atkinson, N.H.; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Private services will be held in St. Peter's Episcopal Church, Rainbow Boulevard and Second Street. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
