Margaret J. Tase, 69, of 94th Street died Wednesday (Dec. 24, 1997) in Mount St. Mary's Hospital, Lewiston, after a long illness.
The former Margaret Crotzer was born in Niagara Falls and attended local schools. She was a cook for several years at the former Lewis Restaurant.
Mrs. Tase was a past president of the Frontier Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, of which she was a life member. She also was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of LaSalle Post, American Legion; and the Forty & 8 LaFemms Cabane 388.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Edward; a son, Edward Jr. of Lockport; four daughters, Peggy Dean of North Tonawanda, Susan Colosi of Grand Island, Nancy Goss and Linda Cox; a sister, Judy Kelly of Greenville, Mich.; a brother, James Roberts of Reno, Nev.; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in Lane Funeral Home, 8622 Buffalo Ave. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston.
