Joseph P. DeLelio, 81, a retired chemical worker, died Sunday (Dec. 21, 1997) in his River Road home after a long illness.
DeLelio was born in Niagara Falls and graduated from Trott Vocational High School. He worked for the former Oldbury and Hooker Chemical companies for a total of 39 years. He enjoyed gardening, hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, the former Beulah Laughlin; a son, Joseph II of Cambria; four daughters, Joann Lum of Niagara Falls, Kathleen Curione of Sanborn, Valerie Bielmeier of Williamsville and Tamara Parsons of New Milford, Pa.; three sisters, Geraldine Serianni, Jennie Faiolo and Mary Huff, all of Niagara Falls; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in St. Paul's Church of the Nazarene, 3520 Saunders Settlement Road, Cambria.
