The Donald has lost a bid to have the town ease up on his Mar-a-Lago Club in this winter playground for the rich.
Donald Trump had asked a Circuit Court to overturn the town's denial of a zoning change for his exclusive club, housed in a 118-room mansion that he bought for more than $12 million in 1985.
Instead, a court panel upheld the Town Council's decision not to lift 21 rules imposed on the club in 1993.
One rule limits memberships to 500 and caps attendance at club events at just under 400 guests. Trump wants the limits lifted, claiming other private clubs in the area don't have to abide by such rules.
The flamboyant financier has not decided whether to appeal the ruling, which was made Thursday.
