Services for Lydia A. Kirschner will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in South Wales Presbyterian Church, Emery Road. Burial will be in South Wales Cemetery.
Miss Kirschner, 96, of East Aurora, died Monday (Dec. 22, 1997) in Buffalo General Hospital after a brief illness.
She was born in Buffalo and, during her younger years, worked in her parents' Buffalo business, Forbach Florists. Later, she did housecleaning for several families in Williamsville, into her 70s.
Miss Kirschner was active in South Wales Presbyterian Church and the East Aurora Senior Citizens Club. She met friends every Tuesday for lunch in the Iron Kettle Restaurant, East Aurora.
Miss Kirschner loved to entertain friends in her home and loved baking cookies, growing flowers, listening to music and dancing.
Survivors include three foster daughters, Joan Conklin of Hamburg and Ruth Sherman and Alverta Tyler, both of California.
