ONE MORE FOR THE HOLIDAYS

Here's the last cookie recipe for the 1997 holiday season.

NANCY'S RUM BALLS

2 cups vanilla wafer crumbs

1 cup pecans, chopped

1 cup confectioners' sugar

2 tablespoons white corn syrup

2 tablespoons cocoa

1/3 cup rum, brandy or bourbon
Mix all ingredients together thoroughly. Shape into small balls and roll in more confectioners' sugar or dry cocoa. Store in tightly covered container for at least 24 hours before serving. Makes about 3 dozen.
