FALLS MAN IN FAIR CONDITION AFTER BEING SHOT TWICE

A Niagara Falls man was in fair condition Tuesday after he was shot twice inside his Linwood Avenue apartment by two men police said he knew.

Police were called to 1330 Linwood shortly after 2 a.m., and found the 40-year-old victim conscious on a porch at 1323 Linwood, according to reports. He had apparently been shot twice in the head with a handgun, reported Detectives Carl Berak and William Thomson of the Criminal Investigation Unit.

The man was taken to Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center, where he was listed in fair condition Tuesday night.

Police, who have not determined the motive, made no arrests.
