A Town of Kiantone man was sentenced in Chautauqua County Court Monday to 1 2/3 to 5 years in state prison on a sodomy charge involving child pornography.
Dean Anderson, 28, will serve the state sentence concurrently with a federal prison term of 3 years and 5 months handed down by U.S. District Court Judge William Skretney last week.
Anderson had entered a guilty plea to a sodomy count before County Court Judge John Ward. Anderson admitted molesting a 12-year-old boy, videotaping simulated sex with the boy, and possessing digital photographs of child pornography then sending them over the Internet.
Anderson and his roommate, Barry Belin, were arrested in April after an investigation into allegations they were running a child pornography operation via computer. Charges against Belin are pending, and he is free on $120,000 bail.
