Frank E. Hayward, 94, a retired baker-manager for the former Cease's Commissary here, died Wednesday (Dec. 17, 1997) in his home after a brief illness.
Born in Chicago, he was a longtime resident of Dunkirk. He was a member of the former Dunkirk Industrial Club and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church.
His wife, the former Bertha Neuschwanger, died in 1990.
Survivors include a daughter, Joan Sklepik of Perry; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Mass will be offered at 11:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 328 Washington St.
