FBI, POLICE SEEK TELEMARKETER ON FRAUD COUNTS

The FBI and area police are seeking help in tracking down an alleged teleshark wanted on 10 felony counts of wire fraud.

Eugene M. Armstead, 46, was indicted in October by a federal grand jury on 10 counts of fraud, crimes allegedly committed as an employee of a Buffalo telemarketing firm, Logik Enterprises. As a result of the indictment, a federal arrest warrant was issued.

Authorities say Logik Enterprises closed last year after six employees were indicted. Armstead worked at Logik for about a year.

Police say he also is wanted in the City of Tonawanda on petit larceny charges.

Authorities believe Armstead is hiding in the Buffalo area.
