WYNDHAM HOME RAISES 68% OF CHALLENGE GOAL

Facing a deadline at noon Dec. 31, Wyndham Lawn Home for Children has received $51,163.90 or 68 percent of the $75,000 that it needs to raise in order to secure a challenge grant of an additional $25,000.

Development Director Paul D. Flach said that an anonymous donor had offered to contribute $25,000 to the home if $75,000 could be raised from other sources by Dec. 31.

Wyndham Lawn serves children and their families who have serious emotional, social and behavior challenges. A total of 43 boys and 20 girls from 10 to 15 years old currently live at the home, 6395 Old Niagara Road.
