BUFFALO POLICE, SABRES TO HAND OUT FOOD, GIFTS

Members of the Buffalo Police Department and the Buffalo Sabres will team up Wednesday to distribute food and gifts to needy families across the city.

Rob Ray and other Sabres will donate their time and money to help distribute the items, which will be delivered by city police cars, according to First Deputy Police Commissioner Rocco J. Diina.

Diina and Ray established the Buffalo Sabres Christmas Charity Fund three years ago to benefit families identified by officers as experiencing hard times during the holiday season.
