WOMAN CHARGED WITH WELFARE FRAUD

A Jamestown woman is accused of bilking the welfare system out of $2,929 by submitting false and forged child care verification forms.

Susan E. Dietz, 28, of 19 Prater Ave. was arrested last week by state police after a joint investigation with the fraud unit of the Chautauqua County Department of Social Services.

She is charged with grand larceny, five counts of criminal possession of a forged instrument and five counts of offering a false instrument for filing. All of the charges are felonies.
