The Latrell Sprewell incident should really be put into perspective. A multi-millionaire feeling that his punishment is too severe obviously doesn't know one simple thing: right from wrong.
Imagine yourself working at your job one day and you become upset with your boss. You attack this person, choke him and tell him you are going to kill him. What would your punishment be? A one-year suspension from your career of choice?
Personally, I would expect to not only be fired, but arrested. That's right. I haven't heard mentioned in this whole thing that what Sprewell did was illegal. Why should he be treated differently?
At least tell the guy (whose discipline problems are nothing new) he'll never play professionally again.
