On This spooky Halloween night,

Be sure to turn on your porch light

When witches, goblins and ghosts galore

Will quietly approach your front door

With a "Tricks or treats" cry from all,

Anxiously awaiting to amass their haul.

Pennies, apples, candy and gum

Will add nicely to their total sum.

So be very sure to have plenty on hand,

When children make their yearly demand.
