Patrick Nason of the Skating Club of Jamestown finished fourth in the men's intermediate final at the North Atlantic Regional Championships at Niagara University, grabbing the final qualifying berth for the Eastern Regionals.

Donald DiGiovanni of the Long Island FSC won the event. Andrew Beyer of the Skating Club of Western New York finished sixth.

The intermediate ladies finals is to be held late this afternoon, with Miyoko Ohtake of the Amherst SC standing second after the short program and Emily Morgan of the Jamestown SC standing fourth.

Other locals qualifying for the finals are: Open juvenile ladies -- Leah Limano of Jamestown finished first in her flight; Christina Certo of the Niagara University SC finished fifth in her flight; and Katie O'Brien of the Ken-Ton SC finished first in her flight (O'Brien is the first Ken-Ton member ever to reach the finals in the North Atlantics); junior ladies -- Jessica Roswell of the Skating Club of WNY finished fourth in her flight; and Kristin Tronolone and Jessica Vieth of the Amherst SC finished sixth in their flights; novice ladies -- Rebecca Holmes of Jamestown SC finished first, Lindsay Bloom of Niagara University SC second, and Daphne Johnson and Lindsay Moore of Jamestown SC finished fourth and sixth, respectively.
