Franklin Steward Frampton Jr., 64, of 71st Street, who worked for the Carborundum Co., died Friday (Oct. 24, 1997) at his home after a brief illness.
He was born in Diamondville, Cherry Hill Township, Pa.
Frampton served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict.
He worked at various jobs in this area, including tending bar and driving cab.
Frampton was a member of the American Legion Wheatfield Post 1451 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9011.
Survivors include his fiancee, Gloria Smiech ; his mother, Mildred Frampton Johns of Commodore, Pa.; two daughters, Joy and Melanie Frampton ; a son, Scott ; two sisters, Juanita Kunkle of Concorde , Okla., and Frances Henderson of Diamondville, Pa.; and four grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Lane Funeral Home, Inc., 8622 Buffalo Ave. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
