William J. Grobe, principal of Williamsville's Mill Middle School, will take command as 1997-98 president of the School Administrators Association of New York State in an induction ceremony at 7 p.m. Sunday in the Hyatt Regency Buffalo, host to the association's annual
Grobe, principal at Mill since 1985, previously served as principal of North Tonawanda's Reszel Junior High School and as curriculum coordinator in the Amherst Central School
He holds a master's degree and a doctorate degree in education, both from the University at Buffalo.
A longtime member of the state administrators association, Grobe has served on the organization's board of directors since 1991. He is also a member of the board of directors of the National Association of
Secondary School Principals.
