In other business, the board set Nov. 10 for a hearing to discuss potential federal Community Development Block Grant projects.
The board also set Dec. 13 for "Holiday in the Park," when various local groups will decorate trees with "environmentally friendly" ornaments. The event will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. in Yates Park and will include hay rides.
