Walter E. Miller, 61, of Dorwood Park, a machine repairman at Delphi Harrison Thermal Systems in Lockport, died Monday (Oct. 27, 1997) in Newfane Inter-Community Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.
Born in Clarksburg, W.Va., he lived in Ransomville for the last 11 years after living in Wilson for 20 years. He also had lived in Niagara Falls.
He was a charter fishing boat captain and owned Lee Ann Charters in Wilson at one time.
Miller served in the U.S. Navy from 1956 to 1962 and was in the Navy Reserve until 1966.
He had worked for 20 years at Delphi Harrison.
Miller was a member of the Alabama Hunt Club.
Survivors include his wife, the former Mary Embich; two sons, Kirk A. and Craig L., both of Wilson; and his parents, Walter F. and Mildred E., both of Ruskin, Fla.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Hardison Funeral Home, 3648 Ransomville Road.
