Josephine A. Tedesco died Monday (Oct. 27, 1997) in Brooks Memorial Hospital, Dunkirk. She was 90.
Born in Buffalo, the former Josephine Sperazz collected donations for the American Red Cross at the McKinley Monument during World War I and was long active with Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church.
She enjoyed sewing, needlepoint and flower gardening.
Her husband, Carmen P., a letter carrier, died in 1982.
Survivors include a daughter, Loretta Mae Clark; two sons, Dr. Ronald T. of Orchard Park and Allan J. of Irving; and four grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11 a.m. Thursday in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Central Avenue. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
