The star of "The Edge" and "Ghosts of Mississippi" brought 300 New Yorkers to Springfield on Saturday to help a Massachusetts campaign reform initiative.

If passed, the so-called Clean Election Law would limit campaign spending, provide public financing of candidates, ban soft money to parties and require full campaign finance disclosure.
