Walter Clark, 77, of Oregon Road, a retired carpenter, died Sunday (Oct. 26, 1997) in Medina Memorial Hospital.

A native of Lindley, Clark lived much of his life in Steuben County.

Clark, who also was a farmer, retired from carpentry in 1969, when he moved to Lyndonville.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his wife, the former Bernice Clark; four sons, Harvey of Addison, William of Painted Post, Edward of Phoenix, and John of Waterport; three daughters, Carolyn Treat of Cameron Mills, Barbara Tabor of Waterport and Loretta Swain of Albion; a sister, Eva Harding of Binghamton; 16 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Barnes-Tuttle Funeral Home, 112 N. Main St. Burial will be in Bates Road Cemetery, Medina.
