Russell S. Liddle, 74, a retired carpenter, died Saturday (Oct. 25, 1997) in his Holland home.

Liddle, who served in the Navy during World War II, was a member of the American Legion in Holland.

He also was a member of the Carpenters Union.

He and Ruth M. Green Liddle, who died in July, had been married for 50 years.

Survivors include a son, James of Holland; three daughters, Diana Bennett of Holland, Laurie of Yorkshire and Kathy of Buffalo; four brothers, Walter, John and William, all of Holland, and Robert of Buffalo; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
