Julia B. Ziolkowski, 72, a registered nurse, died Sunday (Oct. 26, 1997) in her Perry home after a long illness.

The former Julia Brady was born in Le Roy and graduated from St. Jerome School of Nursing in Batavia.

She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and the U.S. Cadet Nurse Corps. She worked as a volunteer for the American Red Cross blood program and Community Clothes Closet in Perry.

She enjoyed playing bridge and golf.

Her husband, Leo, died in 1984.

Survivors include a son, John of San Diego; two daughters, Diane Perry of Bliss and Mary Ann Popham of Torrington, Conn.; three sisters, Dorothy Heaman and Emily Pangrazio, both of Le Roy, and Bernice Fahey of Indian Town, Fla.; and 13 grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Joseph's Church, 71 Leicester St. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
