The Buffalo Gladiators turned the ball over four times and quarterback Chris McClinnoc was sacked four times in a 13-10 loss to the Broome County Jets in the National Minor Professional Football Association playoffs.

Trailing, 13-10, the Gladiators (9-2) drove to the B.C. 14, where McClinnoc was intercepted by Dave Petrysen with just under a minute left. McClinnoc's 45-yard scoring pass to Derrick Floyd with 7:36 left in the game was the lone Gladiators touchdown.

Nick Patterson had a 2-yard scoring run for B.C. (13-1), champion of the Empire Football League. The Gladiators, champions of the New York Football League, had a seven-game winning streak snapped.
