A handicapped accessible van donated by Dr. Samuel Rosati will be used by the Dale Association to offer transportation to and from doctor appointments in the city and town of Lockport.

Association President Linda L. Van Buskirk said the van will be available to city and Town of Lockport residents age 50 and older. It must be ordered 72 hours in advance and paid for at the time the patient is picked up. Hours of service are 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m, and 1 to 3:30 p.m. weekdays. The last ride home will be 4:45 p.m.

One-way fares are $3.50 in the City of Lockport, $5 in the town. Round trips are $7 in the city, $10 in the town. Patients confined to wheelchairs will pay one-way fares of $12.50 in the city or $14 in the town. Round trips in wheelchairs cost $25 in the city, $28 in the town.
