AMHERST CHAMBER INVITES SHERIFF'S CONTENDERS

The leading contenders in the race for sheriff -- Democrat Rocco Diina and Republican Patrick Gallivan -- have been invited to be the featured speakers at the Amherst Chamber of Commerce's annual candidates' breakfast at 8 a.m. Tuesday in the University Inn and Conference Center.

Also invited are County Legislators Randi Cohen Kennedy, William Pauly and Michael Ranzenhofer and County Legislature candidates Barbara Guida, Dennis Ward and Barry Weinstein, Amherst Supervisor Susan J. Grelick and her opponent, William A. Kindel; Amherst Town Clerk candidates Susan Jaros and Damon Serota and Amherst Council Members James Hayes and Jane Woodward and candidates Daniel Longo, Dr. Todd Shatkin, Robert Simmons and Daniel Ward.
