Thursday: A private cocktail party including a visit from Gov. Pataki at 4:30 p.m., followed by an unveiling of the floor art and a private reception until 9 p.m. More than 2,000 community leaders, travel agents and elected officials are invited.
Friday: A dedication ceremony at noon, followed by a Community Day public open house with entertainment from 1 to 4 p.m.
Saturday: The annual Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra black-tie gala.
Sunday, Community Day for the public, with entertainment, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Parking will be provided at lots across Genesee Street, with shuttle buses to the terminal. The Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority hopes the two open houses will draw up to 30,000 people. Visitors attending the Friday or Sunday open houses must obtain a free ticket at any Tops Friendly Market Fantastix outlet.
