An East Avenue man has been arrested for forging and cashing about 13 checks for small amounts of money between July 28 and Aug. 3, state Trooper William Fish said Friday.
Eric D. Koch, 30, of 165 East Ave. was charged with 13 counts of forgery and one count of petit larceny after he allegedly cashed the checks at Jubilee Foods on Chestnut Street, the Rite Aid Drug Store at the Lockport Plaza, and Unit No. 1 Federal Credit Union on Stevens Street, Fish said. Further details were not available.
Koch was arraigned in Town Court. His bail was set at $1,100, Fish said.
