PUNCH IN THE FACE NETS BUFFALO MAN 90-DAY TERM

Cheektowaga Justice Ronald E. Kmiotek sentenced a 30-year-old Buffalo man to 90 days in jail for punching someone in the face in September, court
officials said.

Kenneth L. Day, of 191 Kilhoffer St., pleaded guilty to attempted assault. Police charged him after a fight on Freda Drive last year.

Kmiotek also sentenced four others to 15 days in jail:

Mark Shelton, 24, of 1463 E. Delavan Ave., pleaded guilty to harassment for taking money from a woman on Sable Palm Drive in January, court officials said.

Ronald M. Eckert, 17, of 50 Steven Drive, Cheektowaga, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct, after neighbors called police about a neighborhood
disturbance Oct. 8.

David P. Haskins, 25, of 305 Halstead Ave., Sloan, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct, after a fight on Genesee Street in January.

Timothy DeJesus, 17, of 23 Euclid Ave., Cheektowaga, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct, after he used obscene language to a police officer in June.
