Detectives Thursday took a cut out of a burglary ring that has been plaguing barber shops with the arrest of three youths.

Dewayne G. West, 18, and John R. West, 16, both of 1029 19th St.; and Roy D. Barr II, 19, of 7221 Porter Road, Town of Niagara, were arrested on burglary and larceny charges after an investigation by Detectives Patricia McCune, John Olander, William Smith and William Thomson, Chief of Detectives Capt. Louis F. Curcione said.

A fourth youth is being sought in connection with the burglaries over the past 10 days at Pete's Barber Shop, 721 19th St.; Salon Salon, 1926 Pine Ave.; Scibilia's Barber Shop, 537 19th St.; and the Kut & Style Barber Shop, 643 19th St., Curcione said.

The arrests were made after detectives obtained information that led them to 508 19th St. at 8:30 a.m. Thursday where they found the West brothers and Barr with property, including a television, the trio allegedly purchased with the money and goods they are accused of taking in the break-ins, Curcione said.
