Cosimo G. Pellegrini, a Niagara Falls resident and carpenter, died Monday (Oct. 20, 1997) in Cleveland Clinic, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., after an eight-month battle with lung cancer. He was 69.

A Buffalo native, Pellegrini worked as a carpenter for 30 years and was a member of Local 280, Carpenters Union, and the Italian-American Club of Coconut Creek, Fla.

He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife, the former Carmella Dimino; three daughters, Cynthia Delaney of Kalamazoo, Mich., Mary Jo Daves of Lawrenceville, Ga., and Elaine Soprano of Freemont, Calif.; and three grandchildren.

Services were held Thursday in Margate, Fla.
