A Tonawanda writer recently complained that there is no radio station geared to adults 55-plus in Western New York. This simply isn't true. There is such a radio station, it's been around for years and it enjoys great ratings success!
The station is WECK (1230 AM). It's billed as the best of the '40s, '50s and '60s and it's owned by American Radio Systems, the group just purchased by CBS Radio.
Although WECK caters to the 55-plus crowd, a lot of younger listeners enjoy the adult standards, too! Join Stan Roberts and Bob Hill every morning and hear the music you grew up with all day long.
