The Frontier Central School Board has rescinded its termination of the high school assistant principal and instead accepted his resignation.
The board had voted May 20 to terminate Warren F. Crouse's probationary appointment. After meeting in executive session Tuesday night, the board decided to rescind that action.
Trustees also voted to accept Crouse's resignation effective June 30. The votes on the resolutions relating to Crouse were 7-1, with Trustee Paul Pellicano voting no.
The School Board declined to comment on the action.
Crouse was appointed assistant principal for a three-year probationary period in August 1995. Anne Trapper Edwards was appointed assistant
principal Aug. 5.
Also this week, the board approved the transfer of middle school teacher's aide William Holody to monitor at the high school to meet the in-school suspension needs there. Pellicano and Trustee Nancy Wood voted against the measure.
