Children's learning preferences will be discussed by educator Charles A. Knier at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Holland High School library.

Knier, recently interim principal at the Holland High School, is senior consultant with SuccessTra, an education consulting agency. He was previously assistant principal of Southside Elementary School in South Buffalo, and a teacher at Buffalo's Native American Magnet School 19.

His talk will focus on 21 learning preferences of children studied by professors at St. John's University in New York City over the past 30 years.
