Mary Mazur, 97, a native of Kielce, Poland, died Monday (Oct. 20, 1997) in Fairchild Manor Nursing Home.

The former Mary Sekula came to the United States in 1920.

Mrs. Mazur, who had lived on 25th Street, was a homemaker, and enjoyed sewing and cooking.

She was a member of St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church and the Wanda Polek Society Polish Women's Alliance Group 456.

Her husband, Stanley Mazur, died in 1983.

Surviving are two sons, Edward of Niagara Falls and Richard of Sarasota, Fla.; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a great-great grandchild.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, 2437 Niagara St., Niagara Falls. Prayers preceding the Mass will be said beginning at 9 in Zajac Funeral Home, 319 24th St., Niagara Falls. Burial will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery.
