SYMPOSIUM TALK BY HALLWALLS CHIEF

Censorship in the arts will be the topic of discussion Wednesday at noon at Empire State College's symposium in the Market Arcade Complex, 671 Main St.

The featured speaker will be Edmund Cardoni, executive director of Hallwalls Contemporary Arts Center, who is an outspoken opponent of the intrusion of politics into the National Endowment for the Arts.

His talk is titled "A Case of Censorship: Threats to Progressive Art in the Current Political Climate." The symposium is open to the public.
