9:55 -- 2217 15th St., assault. Michael J. Leveille said a man punched and choked him.

10:10 -- Seneca Avenue and 21st Street, dumping. Guy M. Zaczek said a man dumped two loads of debris in a lot. The truck driver said he dumped about 54 tons of dirt fill.

10:38 -- 5826 Buffalo Ave., burglary. Ralph C. Henry said a TV, stereo, leather coat and canvas jacket were taken from his apartment.

10:45 -- 11th Street and North Avenue, petit larceny. Daniel M. Scarupa said his flip phone was removed from his car.

11:42 -- 3200 block of Ninth Street, criminal mischief and endangering the welfare of a child. A woman said a man kicked open her bathroom door, striking her 4-year-old son with the door. He also destroyed closet doors, an ironing board and a TV, and punched a hole in a wall, she said.

12:30 -- Highland and Centre avenues, robbery. Samuel Porter Jr. said two boys asked him for a few dollars and when he pulled out about $500, one grabbed the money and ran.

2:05 -- 2228 Cleveland Ave., criminal mischief. Deborah A. Kraft said her vehicle was scratched.

3 -- 750 Builders Way, parking lot, criminal mischief. Mark R. Schmitt said his vehicle was entered and a purse and a wallet with personal papers and $20 were taken.

4:10 -- 18th Street and Willow Avenue, assault. A 16-year-old girl said a girl and a youth attacked her, pulled her to the ground, and kicked her repeatedly.

5 -- 708 E. Market St., Gagsters Restaurant parking lot, petit larceny. Daniel R. Gagliardo said his cell phone, adapter and reading glasses were taken from his vehicle.

5:30 -- 1134 Whitney Ave., criminal mischief. Maria S. MacDonald said a cab in front of her pulled away very quickly, sending up a spray of rocks that cracked her windshield.

8:30 -- 8401 Troy Ave., petit larceny. A 12-year-old boy said someone took his bike after a boy borrowed it.

9:05 -- 901 Niagara Ave., burglary. Ronald E. Hanson said a woman ransacked his apartment, damaged his VCR, ripped several photos and wrote messages on his clothing.

9:20 -- 444 82nd St., arrest. Thomas A. Migliazzo, 32, of 98th Street, charged with disorderly conduct.

9:45 -- 443 Main St., arrest. Michael Gandy, 37, of North Avenue, charged with disorderly conduct and loitering.

9:45 -- 24th Street and Buffalo Avenue, arrest. Tremachus D. Carpenter, 23, of 14th Street, charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, resisting arrest, unregistered motor vehicle, failure to yield and no insurance.

10:40 -- 501 19th St., arrest. Warren M. Briggs, 23, of LaSalle Avenue, charged with assault after Melissa M. Moore said he dragged her out of the house while choking her and slapped her in the face.

10:51 -- 400 block of Ninth Street, harassment. A woman said a man choked her and pushed her out the door. Police said they removed a rifle and two shotguns from the home for safety reasons.

3:55 -- 4822 University Court, arrest. Sabrina M. Bevilacqua, 18, of Ferry Avenue, charged with driving with no license.

4:10 -- 1920 Walnut Ave., petit larceny. A 16-year-old boy said his bike was taken from his porch.

8 -- 520 Hyde Park Blvd., Public Safety Building, arrests. James A. Michaelson, 31, of Rockaway, N.J., charged with grand larceny and criminal possession of a forged instrument, and Thomas Greenwalt, 31, of Rockaway, charged with forgery and criminal impersonation.

8:07 -- 520 Hyde Park Blvd., arrest. Robert J. Moyer, 44, of Pierce Avenue, charged with violation of probation.

9:08 -- 2116 Seneca Ave., petit larceny. Richard L. Cavagnaro said his trailer door was forced open and his TV was stolen.

9:40 -- 643 19th St., Kut & Style Barbers, attempted burglary. Joseph R. Cale said the door was pried, damaging the door and jamb.

9:44 -- Seventh and Niagara streets, arrest. Peter G. Smith, 34, of Fairfield Avenue, charged with failure to pay a fine.

9:55 -- 750 Builders Way, parking lot, criminal mischief. Debra J. Targon said her pickup truck was scratched.

10 -- 1926 Pine Ave., Salon Salon, burglary. Gina M. Eagan said a rear door was pried and kicked open, the shop ransacked and $185 and a stereo stolen.

11:08 -- 4343 Porter Road, Hyde Park Golf Course parking lot, criminal mischief. Robert P. Merino said his car was scratched.

1:52 -- 2243 North Ave., petit larceny. Laurie A. Heigl said a woman took $240 from a hiding place in her house, and the woman later admitted taking the money.
