Basil Tzetzo, 67, a Buffalo attorney, died Saturday (Oct. 18, 1997) of a heart attack.
A Town of Tonawanda resident, Tzetzo engaged for more than 40 years in a solo law practice, specializing in corporate and tax law. He was a member of the Erie County Bar Association and American Bar Association.
A Buffalo native, he held a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Buffalo and was a 1953 graduate of the UB Law School.
He served in the Army from 1953 through 1955.
He also was a talented violinist who enjoyed playing classical music.
Tzetzo is survived by his wife of 36 years, the former Gertrude Petko; a daughter, Elizabeth of New York City; and a son, Alexander of Lancaster, Calif.
Private services were held Monday. Burial was in Forest Lawn.
