A downtown branch of Key Bank was robbed Monday morning by a man who demanded "strapped money," Central District police said.
The robbery occurred at about 9:20 a.m. in the branch at 50 Fountain Plaza, police said. The robber gave a teller a demand note, and the teller then asked the robber what he wanted. "Strapped money," he responded, according to police reports. The robber fled south on Pearl Street after the teller handed over less than $1,000, according to reports.
