Susan B. Lewis, 84, of Cedar Avenue, who owned and operated Elmer and Susan's Hyde Park Grill with her husband, died Sunday (Oct. 19, 1997) in Niagara Geriatric Center.
The former Susan Kopenski was born in Keyport, N.J., and moved to Niagara Falls in 1927.
She and her husband, Elmer A., owned and operated the grill for more than 33 years.
Mrs. Lewis was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church Senior Citizens.
Her husband died in 1979.
Survivors include three sisters, Estelle Hibbitts of New Jersey, Mary Catheral of Lake Worth, Fla., and Rose Kulesza, and four brothers, John of Santee, Calif., Frank of Florida, Ted of North Tonawanda and Ronald of Woodinville, Wash.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in Sacred Heart Church, 11th Street and South Avenue, after prayers at 9 in Rhoney Funeral Home, 1124 Ontario Ave. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston.
