Dorothy C. Beiswanger, 86, of Orchard Park died Sunday (Oct. 19, 1997) in Mercy Hospital after a lengthy illness.
The former Dorothy C. Donovan was born in Buffalo and graduated from Mount St. Joseph's Academy.
She was an office worker for New York Telephone and Buffalo Forge before her marriage.
Mrs. Beiswanger enjoyed playing cards, knitting and dancing.
She was a former member of the Ladies Sodality and the Ladies of Charity Benevolent Association of St. Gerard's Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Robert C. of Depew; a son, Robert C. Jr. of Amherst; three daughters, Sister Judith Beiswanger of Lancaster, Dorothy Tudor of Depew and Sister Julia Hamilton; a brother, Paul Donovan; and a granddaughter.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Gerard's Church, Bailey and East Delavan avenues. Burial will be private.
