Paul W. Barrett, 65, of Witkop Avenue died Friday (Oct. 17, 1997) in Schoellkopf Nursing Home.
His family said he died from complications related to Alzheimer's disease.
Born in Waverly, Barrett had worked at Wendt's Diary for 30 years in sales and production.
Surviving are his wife, Karen Rutkowski Barrett; four daughters, Cynthia Prelewicz of North Tonawanda, Cheryl Wylucki of North Tonawanda, Colleen Stubbs of San Antonio, Texas, and Michelle Barrett of Niagara Falls; two sons, Michael of Niagara Falls and Paul of North Tonawanda; two stepdaughters, Melynda Oakey of Niagara Falls and Robin Harvey of the Town of Niagara; three sisters, Sister Rita Barrett of Buffalo, Marcelline Dunn of Corning and Betty Rounds of Sayre, Pa.; a brother, Gene Barrett of Angola; and 13 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 1055 N. Military Road.
The family said his body has been donated to the Medical School at the University at Buffalo in accordance with his wishes.[lakamp]
