A Halloween display featuring a life-size witch was ordered removed from a suburban Cincinnati post office after an anonymous complaint.

"Ding-dong. The witch is gone. And we're not happy about it," a postal supervisor said Saturday after he was forced to take down the decoration.

An anonymous letter writer demanded the witch be removed from its perch outside the U.S. Postal Service branch in suburban Anderson Township because it was perceived as a religious symbol.
