The Buffalo & Erie County Botanical Gardens will hold a Harvest Garden Fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. A farmers' market will offer bulbs and produce. Rochelle Smith, master gardener, landscape architect and certified arborist, will speak about "Superior Shrubs" at 7 p.m. Monday at Cornell Cooperative Extension, 21 S. Grove St., East Aurora. Her talk will focus on flowering and evergreen shrubs that are pest-proof and low maintenance.
District 8 Judges Council will meet at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Brighton Community Church. Ruth Bennell will speak on "All About Hue." Doris Flett will present a demonstration and workshop on creating a background.
