Erline Hall, 82, of Buffalo, a former employee of WGR-TV, died Sunday (Oct. 12, 1997) in Buffalo General Hospital after a short illness.
Born in Winston-Salem, N.C., she came to Buffalo in the 1930s to live with a sister and raise two daughters. She worked for WGR-TV as a production assistant in the 1950s and 1960s. After retiring, she helped care for her grandchildren.
Surviving are two daughters, Shirley Woodbeck of Amherst and Carolyn Quigley of North Hollywood, Calif.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandsons.
Funeral services will be held at noon Friday in Greater Refuge Temple, 943 Jefferson Ave., where a wake at 11 will precede the services. Interment will be in Forest Lawn.
