On Oct. 4, hundreds of thousands of Christian men gathered in a giant prayer rally on the Mall in Washington to pledge their commitment to God and their families.
I don't understand why Patricia Ireland, the president of the National Organization for Women, and other members of NOW are so opposed to the Promise Keepers.
During six hours of prayers and hymns, these men praised God and promised to be better husbands, fathers and citizens. I would think that all women would want the men in their lives to be Promise Keepers.
I am writing this letter as I watch the rally on TV, and I am thrilled that there are so many men who feel it is important to praise God and love their families and country.
