The public portion of two separate meetings the Hamburg Central School District will hold with two superintendent candidates will be open to anyone, despite previous statements by board officials that the sessions would be by invitation only.
Holland Superintendent Peter G. Roswell and Le Roy School Superintendent Mark Lewis will face daylong meetings with administrators, teachers, students and representatives of a 30-member citizen group and the PTA. The first set of meetings began today with Lewis. Sessions with Roswell are scheduled for Monday.
Initially, some School Board members said the public portion of the meetings would not be open to the general public. Board President William R. Brand said Wednesday the 5 to 6 p.m. sessions at the Armor Administration Building will be open to anyone.
