TEEN INJURED IN CRASH

A Jamestown teen-ager remains in satisfactory condition in WCA Hospital after a one-vehicle crash Monday night blamed on a combination of alcohol and speeding.

One of the passengers in the car, Jennifer L. Chandler, 17, of Bowen Street, suffered a fractured pelvis. Two other teens, Tammy L. Lewis, 17, of Thayer Street, and Robin L. Bush, 17, of Bowen Street, were treated in WCA and released.

State Police at Falconer said the driver, Jeffrey L. Bellomo, 19, of Carlon Road, swerved to miss a deer on Route 62 about 9:45 p.m. The car skidded off the road, hit a tree, and overturned.

Bellomo is charged with speed not reasonable, reckless driving, failure to keep right, and underage possession of alcohol.
